Oh Baseball!

So, it turns out the obsession isn't with Mommy's shoes but shoes in general or as he says, "Shaw". This afternoon I found him in his closet trying on all of his shoes; my personal favorites are the water galoshes that look like turnout boots.

Despite constant coaching by dad, Little Man has no interest in playing with the soccer ball. His current favorite phrase is "Oh Baseball!". I woke him up this morning and the first thing he said was, "Baseball".

Thank you!!!

Thanks to everyone who helped us raise money for March of Dimes, you donation helped walkers raise more than 3 million dollars to be used towards education and research that benefits premature babies. We had a blast walking with the other families and reading the stories of other families; it was such a neat event.

Pretend

Thanks to everyone who has donated money to support our WalkAmerican team. Every dollar goes to help premature babies and their families. If you are still interested in giving, we still have a little ways to go to reach our goal. Meanwhile, here is a video for your viewing pleasure :)

Easter Fun

It has been very busy the last few weeks; here are some highlights from this week alone.

First, my best friend finally had baby number 3 (yay Jackie!). Second, it is Easter weekend and nothing says fun like a toddler with easter eggs. Finally, Trav and I BOTH have Friday, Saturday and Monday off. Tomorrow we plan to have round 3 of chocolate chip pancakes, reading by the fire (it is really cold here), long naps and lots and lots of play time. I love weekends with my boys; they are the best!

Easter has taken on a life of it's own since I began working for a church and this Easter began at 4:30am. I'll never forget the look on Little Man's face when I woke him up at 5:15...hee hee hee...he is a kiddo after my own heart. By 10:00 when we finally made it to the church's egg hunt, Little Man was a walking zombie. After a big lunch and a nap Little Man was much more enthusiastic about our little homegrown egg hunt. Wish daddy could have been there to see it!

P.S. The Blocks are walking in the March of Dimes' Walk America to help save premature babies. If you are interested in helping us raise money for this cause check out the link on the right. If you'd like to join our team shoot me an email. :)

Daddy's Little Helper

Our house is a haven of dust as the back wall of the porch is up so now the dust is contained to the house. I've given up on dusting and cleaning until the project is complete. Little Man has absolutely loved watching the room transform and has even begun mimicking Trav as he works. Just the other day I caught him walking around leveling things... the door.... the wall.... the couch... even the highchair. Too cute!
