So I am officially obsessed with the baby monitor. I wake up no less than 20 times a night to glance over and "check" on the baby. Sick, I know. However, it occurred to me that the lure to sneak a peek is not unlike the lure to look at a sonogram

picture over and over again; black and white, fuzzy, hard to distinguish between parts and the chance to see something you ordinarily wouldn't be able to see from your vantage point. So until I am able to cut the umbilical cord, this is one obsession I've come to terms with.
